If you know me in person, you would already know that I buy one piece of clothing and match it with 100 different accessories, contrast pant/top and make the whole look completely different.
This equally goes for Indian Traditional outfits as well (I will leave some examples down below)
So I got these striped pants while I did some street shopping in Thailand a couple of months back. I've always loved printed pants, leggings, palazzos so I definitely had to purchase this one the moment I saw it!
The best way to rock any printed piece of clothing is to compliment it with another solid colour. I chose to pair the pants with a dark green turtle neck tee, because why not? Accessorised it with some yellow earrings that I own since I was 8 or something. I tucked in the tee, but thats totally up to you. If you're not comfortable, then just let it out, it's no biggie.

Stripes with Solids:

The other time I wore these yellow earrings in a completely contrast outfit was when I went to meet DEBASREE! <3
You can see how different this plain blue top with ripped pants can look by just adding a super bright coloured accessory.
Stripes With Daily Wear:
So if you're running late or you're just not in the mood to dress up but you also want to look tad bit different from just your normal days, heres what you can do. I paired the pants with a basic printed top with the same yellow earrings and yes you're good to go.
I have not changed the accessories for any of the outfits because I wanted to show you how you can look completely different even when you repeat most of the pieces.
Stripes on Stripes:
This is my all time favourite thing to do. Horizontal with vertical stripes are my thing. Although not many are okay with pulling this look, I've always been super comfortable.
Here's another example of how I've styled a stripped palazzo.
Sorry for the poor quality, some of these pictures were taken 2-3 years ago.
Styled the same palazzo with a different top.
So basically I wore the backside of the top for this one.
This is the actual front side of the top and I paired it with my mom's patiyala pants.
Some of the traditional outfits that I've played with earlier and recently:
This was my school farewell saree and blouse.
A couple of days back matched it with a red skirt and dupatta and wore it to a sangeet.
Had worn the same skirt with a black top 5 years back for some other function.
I know this isn't a typical outfit blogpost, but this is just to show how I style my clothes in general so that I never feel like I'm going to run out of them and I always find something for every occasion.
I hope you found it helpful. Send me a message on instagram if you want me to do more such posts!
Happy reading! :)
