Kama Ayurveda Eladi Hydrating Ayurvedic Face Cream | Review

Got my hands on this face cream as a birthday gift for myself back in April. Been wanting to try one of the Kama Ayurveda products for the longest down, but since they're very expensive I was a little sceptical about giving them a try. The Kama Ayurveda consultants suggested me to get this product as it helps get rid of acne and scars.

Let's just get started with the product details first.

It's a nourishing cream made with a blend of coconut milk, sesame oil, Cardamom, Aloe Vera, Jasmine and Rose oil for a soft, smooth and clear skin.
Its got a really cute packaging, comes in a little brown jar and also with a wooden spoon.
The cream is white and has a really thick consistency.
It retails for Rs. 1125 for 50g of product.

Review:

Okay initially I hated this product and I was regretting that I had spent so much on this.
I applied a very little amount, barely a finger touch into the cream, all over my face right after I got out of the shower and I noticed profuse sweating on my forehead region just 30 seconds after I applied the cream. I had absolutely no clue why this was happening. After a couple of days I started to sit under the AC while I applied the cream and that did a better job, but the moment you come in contact with direct sun, you're going to fee like your face is melting.

Updated Review: How I use it now

1. I use it as a night cream instead because I'm in an air-conditioned room when I sleep.
2. I exfoliate my face really well before applying the cream
3. I make sure I massage it really well into my face before applying a layer of baby powder (Part of my everyday routine) this way it causes less sweating
4. I also started applying to my hands and legs
5. Wear it during rainy days or when its cold

Pros:

1. The fragrance is so calming and beautiful you would want to keep sniffing it all day
2. It will do great as a winter moisturiser because it hydrates your skin really well
3. Good for all skin types during winter, for summer days, dry skin babies will love it!
4. Makes your skin super soft and fluffy
5. Non greasy, doesn't cause breakouts

Cons:

1. Doesn't do anything in preventing acne or treating scars
2. Oily skin babies are going to hate this during summer!
3. Costs a bomb

Final word:

You can totally get a regular moisturiser for this. But the fragrance and how smooth your skin can feel after you use this makes it a decent buy.

Flawless Organics Products Review | Instagram Brand | Face Mask & Face Scrub

Flawless organics is a handmade skincare Instagram brand which is Tamil Nadu based. But they do ship throughout India. They were sweet enough to send me some products from review but all opinions will be my own. I received A Skin Softening and Brightening face mask, De-tan Face mask, Chocolate Body Scrub and Face Scrub.  You can buy them from:  https://www.instagram.com/flawless_organic_products/ They all retail for Rs.300 for about 50-100g of product. I think it's absolutely worth it because you only need a little product and the ingredients used are amazing.  Skin Softening and Brightening Face Pack: This face pack has hands down been my favourite ever since I received it. They recommend you to mix the mask with curd but I also tried it once with water but I prefer it was curd because that way it takes a little more time to dry and also I love how curd feels on my skin in general, so yes.  This product DOES brighten your skin (I...

10 Best places to shop makeup and skin care in Thailand | Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket

I went to Thailand recently (follow me on  INSTAGRAM  to know more) and I did a lot of homework on choosing the places to shop because thats the main reason we chose Thailand for this vacation! I read many blogs and one such blog was  https://thailand.tripcanvas.co/bangkok/affordable-makeup-skincare-brands/ . This article mainly focused only on places to shop in Bangkok but I have discovered some more in Pattaya and Phuket too! 1.FAMILY MART The first place I visited in Pattaya was Family Mart. Family Mart is just everywhere in Thailand, its like a mini supermarket and has everything you need under one roof (duh)! They have a section for skincare and makeup (mostly skin care) where you get face masks, black head masks (the one by Cathy Doll is supposed to be really good), serums, mud packs etc. in the form of sachets and they're super reasonably priced! You get sachets starting from 10-60 bhat. Available: Throughout thailand and even in Bangkok Airport ...
