10 Best places to shop makeup and skin care in Thailand | Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket

I went to Thailand recently (follow me on INSTAGRAM to know more) and I did a lot of homework on choosing the places to shop because thats the main reason we chose Thailand for this vacation! I read many blogs and one such blog was https://thailand.tripcanvas.co/bangkok/affordable-makeup-skincare-brands/. This article mainly focused only on places to shop in Bangkok but I have discovered some more in Pattaya and Phuket too!

1.FAMILY MART

The first place I visited in Pattaya was Family Mart. Family Mart is just everywhere in Thailand, its like a mini supermarket and has everything you need under one roof (duh)!
They have a section for skincare and makeup (mostly skin care) where you get face masks, black head masks (the one by Cathy Doll is supposed to be really good), serums, mud packs etc. in the form of sachets and they're super reasonably priced! You get sachets starting from 10-60 bhat.

Available: Throughout thailand and even in Bangkok Airport

2.BOOTS

Boots is a drugstore/pharmacy in Thailand which has some amazing range of skin care and makeup products to try out! They have their in-house brand too which is affordable and of great quality! They have brands like Mistine (Thailand's No.1 makeup brand), Soap and glory and well known brands like Nivea, Garnier with new ranges that you don't get in India!

Available: Throughout thailand and even in Bangkok Airport (just use google maps to locate your closest boots store)

3.WATSONS

Watsons is a pharmacy which I came across in Central Marina Mall, Pattaya. I didn't see this anywhere else, but I think it will be available in other places too. This place had some unique brands like in2it which has amazing eye brow duos and eye liners! I personally purchased their black eyeliner. You also get Cathy Doll, which is a good yet affordable brand with some nice range of make up to choose from! They have a good range of skin care products too, but I preferred Boots.

Available: Central Marina Mall (Pattaya), Siam Centre (Bangkok)

4.SEVEN ELEVEN

If you've been to any asian country you would've come across this store very often! It's a mini supermarket (which has some amazing snacks, but that's going to be a different blog post all together), but you get some really good sachets of skin care products here also. Cathy Doll's black head masks are available here, alone with some of Thailand's own skin care range at very affordable prices. Oh and they have make up removing cotton pads at really cheap prices so please stock up for the next 5 years from there!

Available: ALMOST 10 IN EVERY STREET

5.MINISO

I've so many gadgets (mostly earphones, power banks and chargers) from Miniso China so I was surprised to see one in Pattaya's Central Marina Mall. I didn't know they had their own range of skin care and make up products but they were super super affordable which such cute packagings! I had bought a face wash from their range which I'm yet to try out. But they've all gentle ingredients and testers for almost all the products so its a yay!

Available: I only saw it in Central Marina Mall, Pattaya

6.MUMUSO

Mumuso looks like a twin of Miniso but has different range of products under their own brand. I didn't really buy any skin care from them but I got a pack of make up removing wipes and a set of blotting paper because they were so inexpensive! They've such cute packaging and are irresistible to not buy!

Available: Siam centre, Bangkok

7.Etude House

Etude house looks so freaking cute! All the outlets look like Barbie's house and I'm not even kidding! They have a WIDE range of makeup and skincare to try out but they're slightly on the pricey side. I heard that the sheet masks there are inexpensive but of amazing quality so I picked a couple of them!

Available: Siam Centre, Bangkok

8.INNISFREE

I know Innisfree is now available even in India so its no biggie, but I absolutely love this brand and I purchased two more products from their range. I find that no skin care brand works as much as Innisfree does for me, so I don't mind spending money on it!
Available: I saw it in Siam Centre, Bangkok

9.EVE AND BOY

This place has mostly high end makeup products such as Nyx, Nars and other Thai brands. It looks almost like Sephora to be honest, but things are little inexpensive here. I went on a Friday and the shop was super crowded. I didn't personally buy anything from here because I had already bought the products I needed. You can also find some affordable Thai brands such as Sivanna Colours, Odbo etc here.

Available: Terminal 21 (Pattaya), Siam Square Soi 1 (Bangkok)

10.Local Markets

Thailand has some amazing local markets, but the most number of markets are present in Bangkok. I visited a couple of markets which includes Pratunam Market, Chatuchak Weekend Market. I was able to find Sivanna colors and Odbo products at a much cheaper rate and you can bargain too, so thats a double YES! They have 1st class makeup dupes for Huda Beauty, Kylie Lip kits etc, which are of good quality too! Personally I bought a couple of Sivanna products from a shop in Pratunam market.

Available: Bayoike Towers (Pratunam Market), Chatuchak Market

Readers Note:
I personally discovered most of the places using Google Maps. You can do the same, It's just so much more easier that way!

Flawless Organics Products Review | Instagram Brand | Face Mask & Face Scrub

Flawless organics is a handmade skincare Instagram brand which is Tamil Nadu based. But they do ship throughout India. They were sweet enough to send me some products from review but all opinions will be my own. I received A Skin Softening and Brightening face mask, De-tan Face mask, Chocolate Body Scrub and Face Scrub.  You can buy them from:  https://www.instagram.com/flawless_organic_products/ They all retail for Rs.300 for about 50-100g of product. I think it's absolutely worth it because you only need a little product and the ingredients used are amazing.  Skin Softening and Brightening Face Pack: This face pack has hands down been my favourite ever since I received it. They recommend you to mix the mask with curd but I also tried it once with water but I prefer it was curd because that way it takes a little more time to dry and also I love how curd feels on my skin in general, so yes.  This product DOES brighten your skin (I...

Kama Ayurveda Eladi Hydrating Ayurvedic Face Cream | Review

Got my hands on this face cream as a birthday gift for myself back in April. Been wanting to try one of the Kama Ayurveda products for the longest down, but since they're very expensive I was a little sceptical about giving them a try. The Kama Ayurveda consultants suggested me to get this product as it helps get rid of acne and scars. Let's just get started with the product details first. It's a nourishing cream made with a blend of coconut milk, sesame oil, Cardamom, Aloe Vera, Jasmine and Rose oil for a soft, smooth and clear skin. Its got a really cute packaging, comes in a little brown jar and also with a wooden spoon. The cream is white and has a really thick consistency. It retails for Rs. 1125 for 50g of product. Review: Okay initially I hated this product and I was regretting that I had spent so much on this. I applied a very little amount, barely a finger touch into the cream, all over my face right after I got out of the shower and I noticed pr...
