*NEW* Nykaa Skin Genius Sculpting and Hydrating Foundation | Review

In today's post I'm going to be reviewing the new launch by Nykaa in the Skin Genius line.
So basically this is the first time I'm ever trying out a foundation. If you have been following me for a long time then you might be knowing that I'm all in for natural skin, but I've always been curious to know how exactly these foundations work, which is the reason I got my hands on this product.

H

What it claims:
1. Natural and radiant finish
2. Light Weight formula
3. Homogenous application

Ingredients: Contains Hyaluronic acid which is supposed to be really good for the skin.

My Shade: 04 True Tan

Retails for: Rs. 575 for 30 ml

My review:
I've tried out this foundation four times now, both day and night and once for an entire day.
The foundation gives a very very sheer coverage although layering it up even up to 2-3 layers will only reduce the pigmentation on your face and even out your skin tone. It doesn't hide your scars or acne which I'm completely okay with. I've oily and acne prone skin. More than acne, I have acne marks on my cheek. It didn't hide any of it, but gave an even skin tone and a glow from within.
This product also claims that it adjusts with your skin colour and I must agree to that. I wear two layers of this and then use a compact to set the foundation in place because otherwise its really oily and transfers very easily. It stays in your face for a good 5-6 hours, which is what I noticed. It does oxidises a little bit, but that way it looks more natural on your skin. In pictures, it looks really beautiful, and your skin tends to look flawless. I only wear this on special occasions such as weddings or parties, I don't use any makeup on regular basis, and I also don't like full coverage foundations. So, this is perfect for me.

Pros:
Love the fact that it matches the shade of my skin very well. I love the glow it gives on the skin. Looks very natural on the skin, and didn't cause any break outs for me so far. And and and, it's absolutely easy to blend, even using your fingers.

Cons:
I think for people who have extreme acne and if you want to hide your flaws, this foundation will not be a good choice.

Flawless Organics Products Review | Instagram Brand | Face Mask & Face Scrub

Flawless organics is a handmade skincare Instagram brand which is Tamil Nadu based. But they do ship throughout India. They were sweet enough to send me some products from review but all opinions will be my own. I received A Skin Softening and Brightening face mask, De-tan Face mask, Chocolate Body Scrub and Face Scrub.  You can buy them from:  https://www.instagram.com/flawless_organic_products/ They all retail for Rs.300 for about 50-100g of product. I think it's absolutely worth it because you only need a little product and the ingredients used are amazing.  Skin Softening and Brightening Face Pack: This face pack has hands down been my favourite ever since I received it. They recommend you to mix the mask with curd but I also tried it once with water but I prefer it was curd because that way it takes a little more time to dry and also I love how curd feels on my skin in general, so yes.  This product DOES brighten your skin (I...

Kama Ayurveda Eladi Hydrating Ayurvedic Face Cream | Review

Got my hands on this face cream as a birthday gift for myself back in April. Been wanting to try one of the Kama Ayurveda products for the longest down, but since they're very expensive I was a little sceptical about giving them a try. The Kama Ayurveda consultants suggested me to get this product as it helps get rid of acne and scars. Let's just get started with the product details first. It's a nourishing cream made with a blend of coconut milk, sesame oil, Cardamom, Aloe Vera, Jasmine and Rose oil for a soft, smooth and clear skin. Its got a really cute packaging, comes in a little brown jar and also with a wooden spoon. The cream is white and has a really thick consistency. It retails for Rs. 1125 for 50g of product. Review: Okay initially I hated this product and I was regretting that I had spent so much on this. I applied a very little amount, barely a finger touch into the cream, all over my face right after I got out of the shower and I noticed pr...

10 Best places to shop makeup and skin care in Thailand | Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket

I went to Thailand recently (follow me on  INSTAGRAM  to know more) and I did a lot of homework on choosing the places to shop because thats the main reason we chose Thailand for this vacation! I read many blogs and one such blog was  https://thailand.tripcanvas.co/bangkok/affordable-makeup-skincare-brands/ . This article mainly focused only on places to shop in Bangkok but I have discovered some more in Pattaya and Phuket too! 1.FAMILY MART The first place I visited in Pattaya was Family Mart. Family Mart is just everywhere in Thailand, its like a mini supermarket and has everything you need under one roof (duh)! They have a section for skincare and makeup (mostly skin care) where you get face masks, black head masks (the one by Cathy Doll is supposed to be really good), serums, mud packs etc. in the form of sachets and they're super reasonably priced! You get sachets starting from 10-60 bhat. Available: Throughout thailand and even in Bangkok Airport ...
